For high-pressure applications (above 20 Bar), we recommend Schedule 80 GI pipes which have thicker walls capable of handling the stress. All our Schedule 80 pipes are hydrostatically tested to 1.5x the rated pressure before delivery.

Schedule 40 is standard wall thickness for normal pressure (up to 10 Bar). Schedule 80 is heavy wall for high-pressure applications (20-40 Bar). Schedule 80 has a smaller internal diameter but much higher pressure rating.
